Automations for XREAL Beam
Tasker
XREAL Beam
Battery Status Shows When a Certain Button is Pressed on XREAL Beam
- Shows estimated time. Using an automation profile created by another user on reddit that calculates when battery drops each 1% and takes the average of these numbers. According to the user, it's 95% accurate.
Note: This profile needs to run multiple times in order to get better results. Profile is automatically activated when charging/discharging and pressing one of the XREAL Beam buttons mentioned below for showing battery status.
- Shows current time, battery voltage, charging status, and battery percentage.
Battery status information automatically goes away after 3 seconds. It's activated again by pressing the buttons mentioned below.

Make sure to install the necessary Tasker plugins such as AutoInput, activate the license for plugin, and allow all necessary permissions. Also, enable the accessibility services for each apps/plugins. These get disabled automatically after restart. Tasker has a way to automatically keep the accessibility service enabled for each individual app/plugin. Link above for Tasker has more information on the side of the page about how to automatically keep the accessibility service enabled.
How to Import Projects to Tasker?
- Download the prj.xml files above (Two different download links above. One is for XREAL Beam and one is for XREAL Glasses.)
- Place the files in the location of your choice on XREAL Beam. I stick with the Downloads folder for XREAL Beam.
- Open Tasker app on XREAL Beam.
- At the bottom of Tasker is a tab with a Home icon.
- Press and hold at the Home icon and select "Import Project."
- You'll see a phone icon at the bottom left corner of import project screen.
- Click the phone icon so you can see all the folders.
- Locate the folder you placed on XREAL Beam. (Downloads folder in my case)
- Locate and click on the prj.xml file you downloaded.
- You should now see all the profiles (triggers)/tasks associated with that particular project.
Make sure all profiles are enabled. Some profiles get disabled/enabled automatically due to type of task/profile. Don't worry about that. That's how those automations were designed.
- Follow these steps again for each project you would like to import.
